Legal Consultation Services – We are aware that in addition to employees experiencing emotional difficulties, there may be an associated legal component that requires immediate attention. Our legal consultation services (one session per issue) provide telephonic and/or in-person legal advice in the following areas of law:
- Personal
- Separation & Divorce
- Custody
- Impaired driving
- Domestic violence
- Civil
(Note: No legal advice is dispensed for labour-law situations due to conflict of interest.)
If after the legal consultation, employees wish to retain a lawyer to represent them, we are able to assist facilitate referrals to lawyers in our network that would offer employees a preferred rate of 25% off legal fees.
Whenever possible, a lawyer will be referred to you in your community. However, this is not always possible in all areas.
